Summer of Love 40th Janissary

In the summer of 1967 an event would occur in San Francisco that would change the world. A small of people who called themselves Hippies decided to put together a series of shows that would promote love and understanding. Those shows changed the way the world thinks about each other and brought you some of the best artists from the 1960’s for free. It was a magical time that is remembered fondly from all who were there.

Jump forward to the year 2007 and we are living in a world that is desperately in need of love and understanding. The spirit of those times are needed now more than ever. In an unprecedented event the original remaining organizers of the summer of love get together again to bring you one last massive show in Golden Gate Park. It was a day of love and understanding of a magnitude that has not been seen for many years. There were a over 100‚000 people in attendance to hear some of the greatest bands of the 1960’s perform and spread the message.

This event was filmed with in HD with 5 cameras and a multitrack recording. Relive the experience of this wonderful day. Chet Helms Tribal Stomp

The Chet Helms tribal Stomp is a tribute to one of the most important people of the 1960’s San Francisco music scene. Chet Helms was the man who brought you the Summer of Love and the free concerts in the park. Chet was one who developed the first rock and roll shows and the Fillmore and the Avalon Ballroom. His organization the family dog brought you the best music shows to San Francisco.

Chet was a great humanitarian and a believer in peace. Chet lived by his ideals of love and unity to the last day of his life. He was involved in numerous charitable cause and events in the SF area for the last 40 years. When Chet passed it was felt there needed to be one last concert in Golden Gate park to celebrate the man and his legend.

So many people volunteered their time and all of the performers played for free. In the true spirit of the 1960’s everyone gathered together one last time in the spirit of peace and love to celebrate Chet's memory. About 80‚000 people filled Golden Gate park for this once in a lifetime tribute. Filmed in HD with 6 cameras and directed by Sir Karl Fredrick Anderson II president of Global recording artists.
